Unique, one of a kind polymer clay pipes
Welcome to The Bodiak Collection, a place where my imagination meets your smoking needs! All of my pipes are hand-molded, one of a kind pieces made from a variety of high quality clays with metal reinforced stems, and are quite unlike most conventional pipes out there.
Ranging in design from cute to grotesque, I think my work can be put into roughly 3 styles. A collection of whimsical pipes I’ll call the Deco Series, the Woodland Series, which is where Hobbits and Wizards might like to browse, and the Alien Series, which are made from translucent clay and from a darker part of my imagination.
No matter the style, each has a unique vibe, so look around, and see which one speaks to you! If you find a pipe you like but it has been sold, consider commissioning a custom pipe, based on any style and using your colour preferences.
ABOUT POLYMER CLAY
Polymer clay is certified by the ACMI as safe and non toxic. It is certified to "...contain no materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to humans, including children...."
The baking must be done below 350F to avoid the release of hydrocloric gas which is a respiratory and eye irritant (with no chronic effects). Once baked, you would need to burn the clay to the point of blackening to cause gas formation. I had to use a small propane blowtorch to achieve some burnt effects on my work and that took a while. It does not burn easily.
